Thank you all so much for taking the time to share your memories, our family has read every single post and your words have made us smile, laugh, and cry. It has been so incredibly amazing to read about all the ways that he touched each one of your lives.

Many of you have also been expressing shock because you did not know Shawn was sick. Please do not take it personally or think that it reflects your relationship with him in any way. Shawn is someone that did not want people to worry about him, and he didn't want to tell anyone besides his own immediate family. This isn't a decision we agreed with, but we ultimately respected his wishes.
