I’m sorry I never met Shannon. I believe she is the daughter of my brother, Donnie Remmell. I have tried to locate him for years. I read that he also had cancer. If Donnie is still alive, please have him get in touch with me.

I’m so sad to hear about Shannon’s passing. We hadn’t spoken in a long time so I have no idea what happened but I want to say how saddened I am.
When my son. died in 2011 Shannon was there for me at all times and I’m not kidding. She would answer the phone when I was at my lowest and when we hung up she’d have me laughing.
She really helped pulled me through that time.
My love to all her family and especially Chloe, she loved you so much.
Now she’s with her baby boy 🥰

August 7 2004 Fisher Shannon’s son went to Heaven the place of healing. That day I promised my daughter Shanon she could be in the double grave with him. I never thought I would be fulfilling her wish. No mother wants to lose her child. His headstone had a place for her name with the Words True Lamb of God between .Now he has two lambs and I know her arms are holding him. The promise was kept and I know Shannon’s gift of sharing and loving others was her purpose in life. A gift from God for the people of God. Will keep your memory alive daily. Love ya! Your mama
May you know in Heaven the world was a better place because of your love for others. ❤️
Shannon was one of a kind and the type of person we need in the world right now, she could brighten even the darkest of your days with her upbeat attitude and loving smile and could lift a person’s attitude no matter how down they were because she hated to see anyone in pain and without a smile on their face. She was beautiful in the true sense that she always brought out the best in everybody and everything she touched, she will be missed but never forgotten and her memory will forever be cherished and held close to our hearts ♥️
I’m going to miss the times we shared, the secret we shared, the hugs, the laughter, me cooking for us, anytime I’m in need of essential you always was next door.🙏🏾 Throughout my pregnancy I’ll say about 6 months it was just me staying by myself, nights I felt lonely I would always hear a knock in the door just checking up on me, you kept me content lol!!! Continue watching over me and being my spirit guide I can already feel that you are😘😘😘😘🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💙💪🏾‼️

I believe I met Shannon sometime around that Halloween party someone put a pic up of. Shannon was in the wedding dress, a very Shannon thing to do..."well I dont know if Ill ever have a chance to wear it (hint, hint, nudge, nudge, Jeff)" Mischief was always at hand with her.
I shared a great summer with Scott and her. I was coming back from Yellowstone and parked the Vanagon in the driveway regularly. We went to Oak Mountain, Tuskegee National forest, Pensacola, plenty of adventure. I remember a party on someone's property where all kinds of kids came out and we played drums all night. It was that kind of a summer.
Was it the next summer we did the southern leg of Dead tour? I met them in Birmingham and we took it down all the way to Miami. Things were getting pretty freaky in the KOA hot tub late night! (not any of us, we were pretty free but not total freaks). They stayed for part of the summer in WPB.
It wasn't long after that she got married.
We didn't see each other again for quite some time, but Shannon was always there to give a word of hope or encouragement if you needed. She was everyone's cheerleader. Despite taking some hits that would have knocked down anyone, she never gave up her indomitable spirit. Never stopped helping other people even when she was the one needing it the most.
Love and miss you much Shannon.

Shannon was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I've met. I remember one time specifically, I had been going through a lot, and she went out of her way to bring me a little care package. It was a simple gesture to her, but to me, it meant so much. Shannon was the epitome of gentle sweetness. Chloe, I'm so very sorry for your loss.

She sure loved her squirrels. We definitely got some looks holding a squirrel amongst everyone's "pets"
