Shalit was one of the few people I've known who could genuinely make me laugh. He was one of those people with a real charisma and a remarkable sense of humor that you only encounter a few of them in your whole life. Although we only met once in person, we played games and talked online often. He was always upbeat, friendly, and lots of fun to be around. I only have good memories with him, laughing with our friends through the night until early in the morning. In spite of the unfortunate circumstance with his leg injury a couple years ago, he maintained a positive attitude. Shalit was a great friend and I will miss him dearly, I already do.

I watched Shalit's streams nearly every day throughout the past few months while I would do my school work. I have never been shaken up about the death of someone I have never met in real life, but he is such a great guy and to be taken so soon does not feel fair. My heart breaks for his loved ones. Shalit's news coverage, gaming, and late night movie streams brought so much joy into people's lives. One of my favorite memories of Shalit is the SNN riot coverage he did, which was able to make me laugh during a time when I was overwhelmed with stress. I also really enjoyed when he streamed the movies Out of the Past and The Naked Gun. He'll be missed by everyone who had the privilege of getting to meet him or watch him on DLive. We weren't very close, I dont know if he even liked me that much, but man he had something in him you dont see very often. Shalit had a spark of life, creativity, and humor that most people can't hold a candle to. From the moment I first met him over a game of mafia, I knew he was special, and he really was. He quickly became very popular in our circles and was on his way to a lifelong career of internet entertainment. He was hilarious and entertaining, and tried his best to lead others towards a brighter tomorrow with his down to earth advice. He changed many lives, and will be missed. Gone too soon.
