Shalit was hilarious, whip-smart, and clearly driven to succeed despite any obstacles life threw at him. Over the last year he inspired me, unbeknownst to him, to do better in my own life. I'm going to miss starting the weekdays off with him, I'm going to miss watching him code, and I'm going to miss watching him get scared playing spooky games. Love and prayers to his family and friends, he had a positive impact on many, many people. More than he knew.
Shalit was such a great friend and brother to all of us. He gave us a place to come together and hang out during the ups and downs of 2020. I’ll always remember working remote watching his morning jlp/coding streams, how he engaged everyone in chat, and the constant laughter and good vibes . Rest in Peace and God Bless. You and your family are in my prayers.

Shalit - or as we loving called him - Shalito, was such a light of joy and happiness for myself. There were many lonely days this summer where I’d be working by myself, and I’d get a notification that he hoped on to stream. I didn’t know him personally, but it was like him and I were there working away and having fun banter. He was the source of many great belly-laughs, and often really helped lift up my spirits on some tough days this last summer. I am praying for his peaceful repose with God in Heaven, and I pray for all of you family and close ones. Know that we love you for our love for J “Shalit”. God love you.
Even as I had never spoken to Shalit directly, I could tell he was a very intelligent and kind man. He created a streaming "hub" in the mornings for friends and random users alike to hang out and start the mornings. He kept everyone laughing throughout this year with jokes that would leave people howling for seemingly hours. A true staple of the platform of his choice, when everyone else was off, he was on, and keeping us happy.

Rest easy, Shalit. I'm confident you're in a better place now.
Shalit and I first connected through our work as programmers. I still remember the first time jumping on a video call with him to help him work through some JavaScript. From there, our friendship grew. Even though Shalit would be the one streaming his day and his work to us all, it really felt as though we were there together, hanging out most of the day. We developed a rapport that went beyond just internet jokes, but offline to phone conversations about life and work and everything in between. Shalit was smart, caring, welcoming, and always willing to help out a friend. I'll miss his kindness and sense of humor, and I will remember him always. The final op has been ran, rest easy my good friend. I'm praying for you and your family. We love you.
I'm here to pay my respects to Shalit. My condolences to those who knew him well and loved him. Though I knew him only through watching his streams, I can honestly say that he was a man I grew fond of. I can imagine that he was an incredible person to know personally. My prayers go out to his family, his friends and to Shalit himself. Say hello to the King of Kings for me Shalit. We'll all join you one day brother. o7
I did not know Shalito personally but for the year or so I've been watching and chatting there was never a stream that was not either cozy or incredibly humorous :) He was a very charming and talented guy, but I know his family will remember him for much more than we can express here so we are praying for them. There are hundreds if not thousands of us that will never forget him <3
Shalit just had a way of making everyone he talked to feel special. He was gifted with unmatched charisma and charm. I'm glad I got to know him through his streams and was able to support him. He was one of a kind and will be dearly missed. Love you Shalit, you're on to the next one now big guy.
Shalit always provided us comfort and laughs during the darkest of days. He was loved by thousands as an entertainer, but also as a righteous man of God. He was never afraid to call out evil when he saw it, and that is what I’ll always remember about him. So many of us never even had the privilege of meeting him in person, but I know we will when all is said and done. In the meantime, rest easy, Shalito. ✝️
I remember Shalit's early Bloodborne streams with 9 viewers, the Dark Souls streams when he finally got subscriptions, all the way through to the riot streams that exploded overnight and became the biggest mainstay of DLive to bring us all so much joy in such a terrible time. It's unbelievable how huge and how positive an impact Shalit had on so many people in so short a time. Prayers up for an absolute king o7
I watched his streams almost every morning. He would always play JLP and work on programming. Tuning into his streams and hearing his funny interjections while I was also doing school work was like having friends to chill with during the early grind. I watch many streamers he's friends with but Shalit was always the most consistently positive, upbeat, and hilarious guy to watch. I think anyone would be lucky to have a friend like him. May he rest in heaven for eternity.
Throughout one of the hardest years of my life, this man maybe more than anyone else gave me reasons to smile and laugh. I was nothing more than a viewer of his streams, but he knew how to make everyone feel apart of what he was doing. He is one one of the friendliest and funniest people I've ever known. He really could take every bad moment and turn it into a good one. I will miss him and never forget the short time I got to know him. Rest easy fren. I look forward meeting you when the time comes.

To the friends and family of Shalit:

I cannot imagine the pain that you are experiencing right now, but I hope that you can find solace in the fact that Shalit is now with his Father in Heaven. He was a kind man with a great sense of humor, and brought a smile to my face and the faces of countless others on a daily basis. I will never forget his strength and determination; how he overcame his disability and went on runs constantly. He never gave up on himself, and fought until the very end. He was truly an inspiration, and young men everywhere would do well to learn from the example that he set. It is clear to me that Shalit's strength and kindness came from his unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He may be gone from this world, but because of his great faith he has earned the gift of eternal life, and we will see him again soon.

All of my love goes out to you, and may God comfort you during these trying times.
Jordan brought us all peace of mind in these crazy times through his levity and wholesome streams. I know I am not alone when I say that my life was greatly improved through his warm takes and genuine character, though I had never met him in person. I look forward to meeting him on the other side and my prayers are with his friends and his family. God bless.
