It is with deep sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Sereno Aguilera-Escobar. A virtuoso of life, Sereno departed from this world on January 19, 2026, concluding an incredible journey that began on September 12, 1942.

Sereno was a man whose personality was as expansive and diverse as the world itself. A trickster and a joker, he brightened the lives of those around him with his ebullient spirit and good-natured humor. Yet, …

Sereno was deeply loved by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will continue to live on through the generations he helped shape. Serano did not wish to have a service instead he wanted to be cremated and anybody who knew and loved him are encouraged to plant a tree in his memory. As that "will last more than anyone elses lifetime" in his words. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
