I knew Scott in high school when we served together on a state educational committee. I am back in Effingham this week (I have lived in Florida for 30 years) and was heartbroken to learn of his death two years ago. He was so kind, smart and an outstanding leader (with a great sense of humor.) I am so sorry for your loss.

Missing my cousin and my friend, Scott today.  Always love you and the memories we made.
Julie, I continue to think about you, your boys and Scott so very often. I will continue to send prayers of comfort, and in your own time.....healing and some semblance of peace.

With so much love,
Je A'nna

The Board and Staff of AdoptAClassroom.org were saddened to learn of Scott's passing, and have contributed to this donation to the Poetry Center in his honor. We were delighted to learn of the good work they do in Chicago schools. It felt like a perfect way for us to honor his memory.

All of us at AdoptAClassroom.org send our sincere condolences to Julie Krueger and family, and our wishes for a peaceful New Year.
Julie, I wanted to reach out and send my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I only met Scott once when you both were in Houston, but it was a joy to be around you both and connect away from work. You are truly the best Julie and my heart goes out to you. I will continue to send you heartfelt wishes and keep you in my prayers!

Sincerely,
Deon Scott
I got to know Scott and Andrew through the college consulting process when my company worked with Drew. From the beginning, whenever I saw this amazing man on the screen, it made my day better. So smart, so interested in my company, always wanted to help and always wanted to be part of what we did. And always fun to speak with. He LOVED his family, Julie, all the kids, his life, his travels, his homes, everyone's outfits (!) and he made things look easy. I can't bear to think of him not just a phone call away. We need to take over for Scott and pay it forward as he always did. He would want this from all of us. Godspeed dear Scott....and I will never take you out of my phone either.

We adored Scott and feel very blessed to have spent time with him in 2021 at Refugio Del Amor in San Diego.  He was an incredible human being who brought love and light to everything he touched.  His passion was contagious, it inspired us to be better human beings ourselves.  Our love and prayers go to Julie and the wonderful sons that she and Scott raised.  Julie may you have the strength you need to move forward after losing the love of your life.  We love you so much,  Steve and Tammy

An epic day to remember with Scott and Julie!!

Ardys and I enjoyed our contacts with Scott as he progressed through Neoga High School and the University of Illinois.  His enthusiasm and zest for life were always apparent, and he was fun to be around.  We pray for the comfort and peace of God to fall on Scott's immediate family, Jerry and Phyllis, and the extended family.  We have all lost a friend and gentleman.

My deepest sympathy to Scott's family, Julie, his 3 sons, his Mom, his Dad and his sister Julie. My heart is so heavy. May the love I remember so well I got from Scott carry us all though this time. My friend will forever be a part of me. Rest in peace Scott. I love you. Til we are together again.

Julie, Colin, Grant, and Andrew -

We are so sorry for your loss. The countless hours at swim meets and theatre performances chatting with Scott, cheering on a good swim and applause for incredible shows. You have wonderful memories that will be with you forever; cherish them all.

Peace to you Scott and love to you all.

James and I are so sorry to hear the news of Scott's passing. We think of the exquisite touches Scott added to the home that we now love. Our deepest condolences to Julie and the Krueger family.
With heartfelt condolences. May Scott’s memory be a blessing.
Scott will certainly hear the words that we all want to hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant."  Colin, Grant, and Drew - you have been so blessed with a deep and strong foundation laid by your parents.  God bless you, Julie & the boys!
I think about Scott's love of gardening & his eye for color & design every time I walk by his former home in Oak Park. My thoughts & prayers go out to the family he loved so much. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Julie, we are holding you and your sons in our hearts and prayers. So grateful for the time we shared together at the New York Athletic Club a few years ago. Scott is a bright light and his spirit shines in all of you.

My sincerest condolences to Julie, Colin, Grant, Drew & family.

Scott was such a lovely man, who was really fun. I will hold my best memories of various hang outs in London. He will be truly missed.

Love and prayers to you all ❤️🙏🏽
