A Tribute to Our Beloved Sathya

Our dear Sathya has suddenly gone Home to be with the ONE she loved and served so passionately.

I still can’t believe that a week ago I was on the phone with SATHYA , we were both too busy especially as she was preparing for her Thanksgiving guests but somehow over an hour went by, laughing, listening, learning and of course praying. We ended with love and gratitude, never dreaming it would be the last time this side of heaven. God gave us that gift, and I will carry it in my heart until I see her again.

In 2020, Sathya joined our P.I.T.S. Zoom Prayer Ministry, and quickly became a precious, irreplaceable part of our family. We are forever grateful to Margaret  Tierney who introduced us.  Almost every day since then, she poured out her heart in sincere prayer, (in English ,but mostly), Praying In Tongues, which she loved and did with such anointing and joy. Though my husband and I only met her in person once, the bond we shared was eternal.

Sathya was a true friend and prayer warrior—Godly, bold, warm, faithful, dedicated, generous, humble, and anointed, I could go on and on. She faithfully led our 5 a.m. (PST) prayer meeting with such love and consistency that when no one heard from her that Wednesday we knew something was wrong. What followed has been a painful, tear-filled blur.

She prayed without ceasing for her own family, and for the ministry, calling each of us by name. Her heart burned for the Church, for America, for her beloved India, and for the lost in every nation. Only over time, did she let us glimpse the richness of her life in ministry—prophetic dreams, mentoring, Bible studies, worship, discipling others, and hosting the presence of God by having a church in her home. I was inspired by her humility.

Sathya has left us far too soon, but thankfully she is receiving the reward of a life poured out in love and intercession. Her prayers have not stopped, they have filled many bowls in heaven and continue to rise like incense and will keep bearing fruit for generations.

On behalf of every member of our P.I.T.S. Prayer family, we send our deepest love, heartfelt condolences, and continual prayers for comfort, strength, and healing to Sathya’s precious family and to all who were blessed to know and love her.

We miss you terribly, dear Sathya, we are thankful for the time we had with you. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement! We will honor you by continuing steadfast in prayer, looking forward to when we meet again, at the marriage supper of the lamb.

The scriptures that come to mind are:

James 5:16 The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Proverbs 31:28 - 31, especially,

" A woman who fears the lord will be greatly praised."

With all our love,

Philip & Zipporah

I thank you Lord for Sathiya's life and send my love to her family.  Although I didn't know her personally,  I saw the result of her faith in Jesus and kindness toward others through her involvement with the PITS family.  Father, please comfort her family and friends.  All love, Hedda  Pike, Australia.

Please accept my most heartfelt condolences regarding the sudden and tragic passing of Sathiya. It is a great loss; she was a remarkable person taken from us far too soon.

She made a significant impact on everyone she encountered. I was personally blessed by her spirit, recalling fondly how, following a recent Wednesday prayer call, she took the time to offer specific, personal prayer for my well-being and uplifted me with her encouragement. She was an inspiration. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and all those who loved her during this time of immense grief.

I will miss this beautiful soul.  I would wake early in the morning, 4-5 am, and get on the PITS call to pray. I would see her name or hear her voice and know all is well.  Sathiya has prayed for me several times and I knew heaven was standing at attention to move at the command in her voice. She made the world a better place.  Starting the morning off with her made the day better.

I  am deeply deeply sorry to hear about Sathiya's passing. She was such a prayerwarrior  and warm and very very meak  person. I loved to listen to her heartfelt prayers! I miss her dearly❤️❤️❤️! She was such a support to me in my time of need. Her wisdom and encouraging words lifted up many many people’s spirits! She was a mentor to  many …. not forgetting responsibility to intercede for her own family members..

She is now with the Lord.. What she did in her secret prayer closet will be richly rewarded in Heaven.

With Love,

Her friend Maarit

Sathya was a dear friend to me. She encouraged and supported me and was quick to send me a note in chat on our prayer calls showing her appreciation for something I did or said. She was humble and a mighty prayer warrior who lead the Wednesday morning prayer call on PITS. Her passion for bringing people and countries to the Lord was contagious.

Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Lord, thank you for putting Sathya in my life. She was such a blessing. I thank you for keeping those of us who are brokenhearted over Sathya’s passing close to you. You are our great comforter and I thank you for the love and comfort you are bringing to Ravi, Eva, Josh, Ben and her entire family. All for your glory, God. Amen.

We loved her on the Pits prayer team so devoted, hard working, persevering, and loving a fierce prayer warrior covering her family loved ones for generations their children and children’s children as well others.  We should all be so blessed to have someone like her to cover us in prayer.

Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints"

Beloved sister Sathiya was a wonderful person. She was a true caring friend of all and lived a life reflecting the real love of Christ. She had a real thirst and desire to know the deep things in the word of God.

She got a good testimony in home,Church, job spot and in society as well.  Her demise is really a great loss for all but Jesus completed his beautiful work in her life and took her away to rest in his presence.

Let God comfort and consoles the bereaved family members and fill them with divine peace.

Praise the Lord

On Aug 6 of this year, while on our PITS prayer meeting, we were all celebrating Sathya’s birthday, as we were all dedicating a few minutes to give her a verbal blessing, Sathiya asked if she could pray - instead of using that time to pray for her own needs and desires, she prayed for me - she blessed me! I will never forget such a gesture of love, compassion, selflessness and faith. What a good sister Sathiya proved to be! I will deeply miss her. I thank our Father for having had the opportunity to know her! She is now in your glory, forever at peace, no sorrow or worry, instead full of your joy and peace. God be glorified! I will see you again! Until next time dear Sathiya ❤️

Sathiya was (and is) a wonderful person. She was a true caring friend and would pray for or with someone at the drop of a hat. She deeply loved (and still does) her husband and children, and was so proud of them.

I will miss her as a good friend, but know she is waiting with expectation in the most beautiful place, in the Presence of the Lord,  for her friends and loved ones to be with her in eternity.

Our sincere condolences to the family of this very special and dear soul.
