My condolences to Sarah's  family.  We were neighbors to the Skoog's 27 years ago and that is when we met Sarah as a young lady.  Such a warm loving person.  All will miss her.  My heart goes out to her Mom and Dad and siblings.
Sarah was such a beautiful light in this world. I am so thankful to have known her.  She helped me find my passion in palliative care - I will be forever indebted   to her for that. She taught me how to be a better provider,  she brightened my day anytime I saw her, and she was always willing to help when I needed it. She was such a giving person and touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.
Jami and family, I am so sorry for your loss.  Sarah was a amazing lady with so many heart felt qualities! She will truly be missed by the many friends, co-workers,  patients and anyone else blessed to have had her in their life, such as me.🙏🏻
So sorry to hear this news this week. I'm grateful to have Sarah and the Skoog family as "kitty corner" across the street neighbors. I was thinking about all the fun times we had as kids, especially the neighborhood "capture the flag" games. Sarah was always a pleasure, and her memory will live on. Best wishes to all family and friends through this tough time!
I am thankful Creighton brought us together and that even though we had many miles between us we were able to keep in touch.   Sarah radiated love in all she did and all of us who were able to meet Sarah in one way or another were beyond lucky.  She was genuine in all she did and her family was her absolute light.   Sarah, may you be at peace, your legacy and love will shine on.  Love and strength to the Saldi and Skoog families and hope we can continue to lift you up 💜

Jamie,

We are very sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a wife and a mother can be an incredibly difficult and painful experience, and our hearts goes out to you and your family during this time.

Please know that you are not alone, and that we care about you and want to support you through this difficult time.

Again, we are deeply sorry for your loss, and we are here to support you in any way that we can.

I was fortunate to be in Sarah's nursing school class, clinical group, and sorority at Creighton.

When Sarah was around you knew that there would be laughter and smiles... and likely a fun time! Everything she did- she did big... including caring for her patients in nursing school as her own. She had a soft spot for geriatrics and was the highlight of many patient's day as she was happy to not only care for their health but listen to their "story" too.  She was a bright light. Thinking of you all as you continue to "shine her light", as she would want you to do.

Nick and Jamie,
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Jennie and your friends at the Omaha Restaurant Association
I worked at Cronks for 11 years and the Skoog family became my family. Sarah was the sweetest thing ever. That smile of hers will never be forgotten. God had a different plan for her for sure. 🙏 deepest prayers and condolences to the family. RIP dear Sarah
I pray that you Sarah are now in a place that brings you comfort.  God I pray to you to wrap your arms around the entire family.  Such a tragedy.  Give them strength!
You will be forever missed, Sarah. Thank you for sharing your beauty with the world!

Sarah had a beautiful soul. When our son was born in 2012, he was admitted to the NICU a few days later. Only a few close friends knew our son was in the NICU at the time. Only family members were allowed to visit after checking in with an escort to the room by us. Sarah somehow used her magical nurse connections and surprised us with a visit to the room. She came in with her beautiful smile and calming demeanor. Sarah was so pleasant and assured us that our Luc would be fine.  Her visit during that time will always be very special to us.

We are thankful of the times we shared with Sarah, but wish god didn’t call her home so soon. Thank you for being a part of our life. We miss you Sarah.

Rest in peace.

Rick & Wendy

My most heartfelt condolences to Eric, Teri, Andrea and Chris. I cannot express how sad I am upon hearing of Sarah’s passing. I fondly remember her as a child while I cashiered at Cronks as she, Chris and Andrea would always want to “help”. :)  I’ll always remember her smiling.
