Sara and I met as coworkers but became friends. We laughed and teased each other, but also shared a special connection. My heart breaks a little every time I reflect on our conversations and the plans we made. She was beautiful and funny and will be missed dearly. I am grateful for our time together, her friendship will always have a special place in my heart.
Sara was a great friend and coworker. I worked with her at Tavolino in Milwaukee and had the opportunity to hang out with her outside of work a few times. She had such a deep passion for helping other succeed, as well as a very intelligent mind. She used to help me practice my Spanish, and was a great encouragement to me. I will miss her ❤️. I wish I could have spent another day with her.
I knew Sara since she was 3 1/2 years old when her mom moved into our neighborhood 2 doors down. Sara and Sofi spent a lot of time with my daughter (2 1/2 yrs younger than Sara). So many of my memories of Sara are of when she was young. Sounds like she didn't change much as an adult☺️ ... witty, fun, caring, and full of life. I remember when Amparo took the girls to Spain, Sara was probably about 5. When they came back, I asked the girls to tell me about their trip. Sara was so enthusiastic and gave me a LOT of details. The interesting part was she slipped in between English and Spanish so effortlessly while telling me her stories. After a while I told her it sounded like so much fun but I didn't understand the part she told in Spanish. She had such a surprised look on her face and said.... I told you in Spanish??? So darn cute....I'm still reeling in disbelief... she will be missed...
Such a great loss. Every time I saw Sarah she brought big smiles to my face! I will miss her much. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who knew her.
