Sanford (Sandy)'s obituary

Sandy Herman passed away on Sunday, Feb 7, 2016, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Lucy, his children Thomas, Shaun and Lisa, and grandchildren Tommy, Tyler and Shawn.
Sandy was born in Savannah, Ga. and raised in New Jersey. He held a great love of baseball. After high school he tried out for the NY Yankees and made the team but failed their physical. For the next five years he played shortstop for the San Francisco Giants farm team. After leaving them, he skated professionally for the NY Chiefs Roller Derbyfor five years.
He worked for ShopRite and Grand Union supermarkets for twenty five years, then changing professions to car sales. His last place of employment was Caldwell Toyota.
