Obituary

Samuel Berman fled Russia with his family to come to America during the Russian Revolution. He brought his wife Sarah and son Morris. Bernard was born in Scranton. His daughter Leah passed away at a very young age from consumption.

Samuel was very industrious. He bought a home on 402 Depot Street in the Providence section of Scranton. There was a garage in the back that he would convert into a barn from May to …
