Sally was born in Alvord Texas, the daughter of Martin Henry Frye and Cecile (Patterson) Frye. Sally has been married to Richard "Dick" E. Gallagher since July 14, 1962. After they married they immediately moved to Arlington where they had two sons, Richard M. Gallagher and Robert W. Gallagher. She is survived by her two sons, her grandchildren Nicholas Gallagher, David Gallagher, Jessica Gallagher, Grant Gallagher, Ryan Gallagher and Lauren Gallagher and her sisters Martha Hopkins and Inez Hand . Sally attended Decatur Baptist College in 1957-58 working on her certification in Secondary Education and was a graduate of University of North Texas and was a teacher, until she had children, then became a homemaker. She and Dick loved to spend time with the grandchildren and their beloved pets in their retirement years, along with travel to far off places. Sally also loved spending time at the family farm in Wise County, her original home area. She was an active board member for the Pella Cemetery in Alvord as well. She will have a memorial service Saturday May 8, at 10:30 am at Hawkins Funeral home in Decatur Texas, and then she will be buried in Pella Cemetery immediately after.
