Known for her infectious laugh, Ruth Alice (Price) Stellmon was born May 21, 1947. Ruth was a descendant of Oregon Trail pioneers. She graduated from Glendale, Oregon, High School in 1965. Ruth and her husband of 55 years, George, were small business owners in Portland in the 70s and 80s owning Ross Island, Day and Night, Hoot Owl groceries, and the European Deli.
