Please join us at Bloomdale Ranch in Mesa Grande to celebrate the life and spirit of Rowdie.
Please stay for lunch after the service. We will provide deep-pitted meat, rolls, and non-alcoholic beverages. Side dishes are potluck style. If attending, please bring a hot or cold side dish, or dessert to share.
All ranchers love the rain and the spring grasses it provides.
The celebration will be held in a pasture rain or shine.GPS NOTE- Do not rely on navigation tools as you will very likely get lost. Cell service is limited. Bloomdale ranch is located at mile marker 4 on Mesa Grande Road.

Speech — Lindsay Dreyer
In memory of Rowdie Sinderud by Lindsay Dreyer
I think there are certain people that are put in your life that are meant to make a big impact, in a short amount of time. And I think Rowdie was that person for a lot of people.
Obviously, by the amount of people here today.
Thad and Rowdie have been best friends for nearly 25 years. I’ve only known Rowdie for 15, yet it seems we have a lifetime of Memories.
More brandings than I can count.
Exchanging horses, well…mostly us buying all of Rowdie’s rejects.
Helping plan each other’s weddings.
Helping name each other’s babies.
And then watching our girls become best friends too.
He said he hated people, yet he made friends wherever he went.
He was that person that you wanted to hate but couldn’t because he was so annoyingly endearing.
He was stubborn yet hilarious and so damn good at everything he did.
He was the most loyal friend, I don’t think he ever forgot Thad’s birthday. Even when I did.
And ….What I would give... Read more to have him to walk in my kitchen door and hear him say “hey buddy whatcha doing?” Just one more time. Just one more Rowdie pop in.
He was a good friend, an amazing dad, the best girl dad and he loved you Ash so much.
I borrowed these wise words from Sierra Branson:
You don’t just lose them once,
No you’ll lose them over and over again.
A thousand times in thousand different ways.
Everyday, sometimes multiple times a day.
It’s a never ending continuous cycle,
One you’ll have to endure with each remainder of their absence.
You will feel as if you’re traveling in 2 different directions for every second of each moment that passes,
that you growing further yet closer to them all at once.
It takes a lot of courage to look forward to the future, when you wish you could go back to yesterday.
It gets lonely and you are never really ok.
But that’s the reality of loss,
It can’t be fixed, only carried.
Ash, Ree, Macie, Donna and Ron we are here to help carry you and continue on his legacy.
And Lastly to Rowdie, I hope you are listening. I know you would love that we’re all talking about you today.
I hope heaven is even better than then Mesa Grande.
Where the streams are cold, clear and deep, and the pastures have lush, green and knee high grass,
with big fat black cows that always have a calf.
I hope the fences never need mending and the bulls never disappear.
I hope your cooler is always full and the beer and tequila is ice cold.
And mostly I hope you get to cowboy for another day.
Ride on cowboy. Ride on my friend
Until we see each again. Read lessIn memory of Rowdie Sinderud by Lindsay Dreyer
