She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on January 20, 1966 to Patricia M. (Homen) Kungulus and Gilbert Sousa. Ann was educated in Lowell Public schools and received her Associate’s Degree from Middlesex Community College. She spent her childhood in Lowell and most of her adult life in New Hampshire.
