In Rocky, the world witnessed kindness, grit, and an appetite for life and food.  Those who knew him, felt something shift within themselves. Because you couldn't see a life lived with authenticity and passion and not be changed. Thanks for your kindness and for pushing me!

To Rocky's family and friends, my heart and prayers go out you.  14 years ago I lost my brother, Joe on Mt. St. Helen's also.  In reading Rocky's story, I know had my brother and Rocky ever met in life they would have been fast friends.  From personal experience, you will come across cruel people's comments, don't give them space in your head.  They didn't know and love him.  You did and still do.  I pray you know comfort in the knowledge that you will see him again.

Rocky was my personal trainer to help me get stronger and maintain my balance at the age of 72.  He was very patient and supported as I was able to use the machines correctly. Rocky’s smile and encouragement made me look forward to our next strengthening exercises.  He always brightened my day. Jeanette Chaffee❤️

My brother Andres Perez was Rocky‘s roommate for over 20 years. We had a lot of good times together and one of our favorite's was burger week. Bouncing around Portland with the two of them, seeing Rocky knock down burger after burger while we were ready to tap out after the third stop was just good times.  Food was one of his passions and I’m happy we got to share those with him along with all the other great memories. Love you Brother
