Mr. Whipple (sorry, I can't call him Ron...he was always Mr. Whipple to me) taught my dad at Hampton Dubose Academy in Florida in the 1960s, and then he was my Headmaster at Ben Lippen in North Carolina in the 1980s. My dad (Roger Cochran) and I both send our love to your family!

Thanks for this wonderful record of Ron's life and service.  We are so grateful for his friendship, prayers, and mentorship over so many years from the tennis courts and classrooms at HDA to his counsel over the past few years.   Mike Sligh
