He was the greatest coach eve…
1986, Outdoor State Track Championships
He was the greatest coach ever!! I Adored him as did so many!! He will be missed and his absence will be felt by so, so many athletes, students, friends!! He taught us to be tough, to be brave, to be humble, to give everything we have! His signature proclamation to us each day was “It’s a great day to be alive.” This sagacious quote was meant to inspire us, to lift us up and to encourage us. He was and will always be bigger than life to me! Rest easy coach!!
