My gratitude for good teachers, life skills and laughs from Mr. Dingle are way too much to summarize here, he will be missed. Memories of every trip come flooding up, and the sadness of his passing along with his laugh and love of the outdoors will be hard to live without.
His leadership, vision and development of the paddling instruction program between OU and ODNR was a great gift to all of us. His knowledge and mechanical skills were what lead us into new rivers, wild places and the backcountry while learning to pack and pull trailers, prep boats and all the other equipment that made every trip an adventure.
Also want to express my gratitude for Barb, Amy and Cassie doing everything they did that kept Ron in his home environment. Barb you have always welcomed all of us in your home and family as rec students in Athens, then as adults returning as friends, you are such a special part of all these memories too. I cherish all of it, thanks for the experiences and memories, you will be missed RLD.

He defined the term educator and mentor. I learned so much from him and passed his lessons on to my students. I will cherish the memories Mr. D created for me. Condolences to Amy and family.
