Obituary
Ron Custer was a man's man and a mentor to many men.
His father (a survivor of the dust bowl and the great depression) brought his family from Iowa to California in 1949, ultimately landing in Grass Valley in 1951. Ray Custer, worked as a mechanic as well as driving logging truck for the many mills in town at the time. Ron's mother was a homemaker with a passion for flowers.
