I was one of Rodney’s 7th grade teachers. I will always remember Rodney’s husky laugh and his ability to draw others to him. He was not only well loved, but he knew how to love others.

Rodney, I am heartbroken to learn that you are no longer with us on this side of life. I will never forget your smile and your sweet spirit. I am heartbroken to hear of Rodney's passing. I met Rodney when he came to Paideia School in 6th grade. Every time I saw him, he had a huge smile on his face as he greeted me. He was smart, kind, silly, and fun-loving. We will miss him. My deepest condolences to you.

Cuz first of all we want to say we love you so much. We are praying that you will feel God's presence as you go forward. The word of God says "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted" Psalm 34:18, the Lord is right beside you so talk to him as much as you have to, to deal with this.
Our prayers will be that you will remember to talk to God for comfort.

It was much fun having you part of the Sinfo-Nia orchestra, and even better to have known you. I'm elated to have played music with you and laugh with you before, during, and after our performances. Rest easy, and let music forever bring you joy and happiness. Much love from your cellist, and friend, Chamaur Mitchell.

I met Rodney when he was a tiny newborn visiting his mom's grad school class. The sweetest little face to ever brighten up Posvar Hall. Sending peace and love to your wonderful family.
Sending my sympathies during this time and praying that God’s love will embrace you. May our Lord bring you comfort during this time of unimaginable sorrow. We are praying for you.
When I first met Rodney as a 5th grader, I led him on a tour of our school. All I could think about was how ADMIRABLE of a child. I prayed that my son would grow up to be as intelligent, outgoing, and kind-hearted as him. I loved meeting him and couldn't wait for him to become a part of our school community. Rodney loved science and math and played the violin. When I spoke to him about joining the basketball team he gave me a big smile and told me “I’m going to grow tall pretty soon.” Rest easy Rodney. My condolences to his family.
So sorry for your family’s loss. I was fortunate to meet Rodney while working at Paideia. Every single day he greeted me with a big smile and I can still hear his little raspy voice say “Hey Coach Moe”. Truly a sweet, talented, smart young man. We will all miss you Rodney. Sending my love to your family during this time.

I want to add my voice to the chorus of voices from Paideia. Rodney left an indelible mark on us. His bright spirit lit us up day-in and day-out. So, so sorry for your loss.
My deepest condolences and love to your family. Rodney's irrepressible spirit was a treat to have at school. We are so sorry for your loss and we hold his memory and your family close.
I am so very saddened to hear this. Rodney was such a spark at Paideia and made me laugh all the time. He was so very well loved by so many here. You raised an amazing young man.
To our niece Chantee, we are deeply saddened to hear of young Rodney’s passing. It’s hard for words to bring comfort during times like this, but know that he’s in God’s presence and after a while we will be also. You have our deepest condolences. Be encouraged 🙏🏽
