Robert was a  Wonderful Neighbor and Friend. Bob Shared many Stories of his many Trips around the World. He and his wife Jen Loved booking Cruises to wherever the Ship would Port!

He will be Missed—And Our Heartfelt Sorrow and Condolences go out to his Beloved Wife Jen and his Family.

ALWAYS KEEPING IN TOUCH-it was summer of 1970, got a call I think or maybe Bob just appeared next to my bunk. He said let's get lunch before I head out again. We got a "monkey meat" sandwich (rice bread w/ham) chatted about old times and can't wait to get out of this place. Place was Tan Son Nhut air base, Vietnam. Thinking of the saturday morning tackle football to night cruises on the AVENUE, will remember him and will miss him.

Fifty-eight years ago I went on a blind date with my future husband.  The triple date was set up by Martha Schroeder.  She and Mike, Bob Standford and Barbara (Martha's sister) and me with my blind date, Jim Woo.  Jim and I celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary last December. That was how my life with Jim started.   So glad we stopped by to see Bob And Jan after my 50th Stagg High Reunion last summer.  Bob and Jan showed us their huge collection of mementos from their many world travels, Jan whipped up a fantastic lunch and we spent the afternoon catching up.  Time melts away when you get together with friends, it's like fifty years never passed.
