Obituary

Robert 'Bob' Newman, 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Mount Vernon, VA, on November 18, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, children Danny, Deb, Don, and Katie, three granddaughters, and a great-granddaughter.

A proud Marine, Robert went on to work as a civil engineer for HNTB for over 40 years, including most of the later years as project manager for the Springfield Interchange. He loved volunteering as a docent at the …
