Wow Katie, great job!! Good obit! He would be so proud and so happy with those kind words. Rick would laugh and giggle and shed a few tears , over this obit then tell a joke or a story to tie it all together.  Love that brother if mine, he was always a blessing for me.

We lost a good one. I hired Rick as a night watchman at the Milk River Dam project in the early 80s on the advice of Gary Swartz, his brother-in-law. He was a keeper and just a great young man. We have stayed in contact over the years, and I last saw him in December as we prepared to go south for the winter. Always a smile, always a hug, and always a positive attitude. And he was a great hand. I will miss him as I'm sure many will. Safe travels buddy. Ed Venetz
