Hey Dad, I just wanted to say thanks for giving me life, the most loyal brothers and picking the most amazing woman to be a mother. I wish you were here to see how everyone’s been acting since you left. I wish I stopped you from going to Washington while i had the chance. I remember you had plans to come back to Florida then I hear about this tragedy. All the built up pain, anger and anxiety this has caused us all. Justice is coming soon! The truth is clear as day no matter what anyone says. You will always be remembered and missed till the end! But until then I’ll see you when the reaper takes me… Love you Dad!

David and I send our deepest sympathies and condolences to all of the family. Rick brought us all together and those ties will never be broken. Rick and Deanna brought three beautiful boys into the world. Denver, Christian and Brandon. These beautiful boys are now beautiful young men with Brandon and Denver bringing another generation of the Wood family with their children. Becky and Ruby, you are family to us. That will never change. I can hear Rick’s deep throaty laugh and see his sparkling eyes as he rejoiced in being with his family. So many years have passed. Rick, may you rest in peace. We thank you for your legacy of Matthew, Denver, Christian and Brandon.

Rick, we lost you too soon. I miss you so much. I love you forever. Thank you for giving me the memories and love of a fun big brother ! I’ll cherish the time well wasted last summer on Crab Island 🏝️ just chilling, talking, listening to country music and reminiscing about the good ole days. I know you’re in your forever home with mom and dad, and that makes me smile. Your legacy will live on through all the people who know and loved you the most! My dear sweet brother! Rest easy! I’ll see you again one day.
