Richard (Rick)'s obituary
One of four sons of Bill and Phyllis Neumann, Rick was born December 14, 1950, in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Rosemont High School, attended Normandale and completed his degree in business administration at Mankato State University in 1972.
After college, Rick took a job with the State of Minnesota where he worked for several years before beginning his long employment with Dakota County. He worked there until 2008, serving several years as director of financial services.
In 1975, he married his wife of 43 years, Kathy (Lenertz) Neumann. Together, they raised their four children. Rick had had a strong sense of duty, faith, and devotion to his family, as well as a lifelong love for sports, both watching and participating. Since his retirement, Rick has enjoyed travelling, spending time with family, doing volunteer work, and playing pickle ball.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Kathy, children, Sr. Christina, Michael, David, and Angela as well as his brothers Tom, Randy, and Bill, and countless others. Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
