Kathy and family, my deepest sympathies to you. He is much too young, and she sure went fast when he found out he was sick. You are in my prayers. I would have loved to come out today, but I have 1st Confessions tonight for our 2nd grade class. Hopefully, one day at a time with the Lord, you will receive the graces necessary to persevere. Don't be afraid to ask for the help that you need.

To state it simply, Mr. Neumann was a man of faith. I remember back in 1994 when my family started attending St. Joseph’s a family that sat in the front right. I soon learned it was the Neumann family. As the years went on I got to know Mr. and Mrs. Neumann on a more personal level due to my friendships with Mike and Dave. Whenever I visited the Neumann house he took the time to ask how I was. He took the time to openly welcome me to his home. What stood out to me about Mr. Neumann was his strong commitment to his faith. He was always at Mass. He was a daily Mass attender after retiring. He took an active role in his commitment to raising his children in the Catholic faith, and he never wavered from it. I can only hope that as I raise my children that I can do it in the same manner of Mr. Neumann. Mrs. Neumann, Sr. Christina, Mike, Dave, and Angela, please know I am sorry for the loss of your amazing husband and father. I pray for peace for you and your family. Please know of my continued prayers.
