I see Richard's face, I hear the exuberence in his voice, I hear the commitment and dedication in his music and I feel him revel - overwhelmed by joy - in his special place of participation within the community he helped secure for himself, his family and friends. What a man! Never to be forgotten, that's for sure.  Love Dy

Remembering Richard and how much his love of family, friends, music, and so many things touched the lives of so many. Deeply missed. Love to your family and friends who still mourn your passing. I am reminded of the beauty of your life and how much it meant to your family and friends. Love to Donna and family, always....

Richard, still can’t believe you are not here!  Always enjoyed our time together.  Thinking of your wife Donna, your boys and your extended family.  Spiritual Blessings

Some of the Good Memories of Richard i have was Playing Golf with him.We both enjoyed talking about the ZAGS.I know he would have been very proud of how the Team played Last night against TEXAS.RIP Richard

Dear Donna, Meghann and family of Dr. Lowell. John and I are so very sad to hear of Richard's unexpected passing. We were both patients of his for many years. Dr lowell's kind, genuine, personable way was what we loved about him.  Dr. Lowell always had time to get caught up. He was humble and joyful and it was obvious he took care of his staff well too. His joy was ever present. Though it was a bummer when he closed his doors, it was also really cool to know he was retiring young, to continue to enjoy his life in the many practices he had that connected him with nature and his overall joy and appreciation for life.

We are so sad to hear he passed at such a young age, but are  glad he went peacefully without illness. We are inspired by the way he lived his life. After all "life is short but sweet for certain".

We wish you peace in healing, holding precious memories close to heart.

So much love your way.

Sincerely, Michelle and John Gorman

One of Richard many Attribute i learn from Richard is his ability to be a Thoughtful Listener. He made sure he heard you well before responding.
I am forever reminded of some

2017
I am forever reminded of some of my happiest memories whenever I see a picture of Richard Lowell. He was perhaps one of the kindest people I ever met, albeit a bit socially awkward at times. That's okay, because I was very awkward right there with him and just glad to be a part of everything. I was a member of The F Street Project as a vocalist and percussionist for a short time, and I consider it to have been a highly esteemed honor to play alongside such an experienced and musically eclectic group. Although circumstances in my life eventually lead me to withdraw from the project, I'm still dancing right along with them today from a distance through recordings of their recent performances. I am so pleased to see how far the project has come. Richard I wanted to tell you, my friend; Angel From Montgomery at 2019's Thumbnail Theater show made me bawl my eyes out like a baby the first time I heard it. It is perhaps my single favorite performance of any band ever and it still makes me cry today, perhaps a little harder now knowing that you have left this world. Richard touched the hearts of everyone that he met, I truly believe that. As well, his believing in me has kept me afloat through a very dark time in my life. Rest in peace, Richard. Thank you for being part of the reason that I believe in my self!
It was a pleasure being a colleague of Richard's for many years until his retirement.  I was also a fellow Kiwanian in the Monroe Kiwanis, where I was able to interact with Richard on a personal basis.  Richard treated everyone as if they were one of his best friends.  He was respectful to others.  He had a holistic approach with his patients, treating the individual and not just their dental concerns.  Richard's idea of wealth was to have a lifetime of experiences and this was his bottom line.  I will miss him for a long time.  Have fun with your new experiences Richard!
Dr. Lowell was an amazingly kind dentist and educator. Each time I had the opportunity to work with him during my dental hygiene program was a fun learning opportunity. He will be greatly missed.

I had the esteemed pleasure to work with Dr Lowell at LWIT. He was kind and respectful to all staff, students and patients. He cared deeply for everyone he met.

I speak for many at the college when I say he loved to teach and his willingness, talent and calmness will always be remembered. Respectfully, Mrs A

Dear Donna and Family. I was blessed to be a musical friend of Richard's. We played together off and on from the time he found me at the Thumbnail Theater. Together with the band, and the folks at the Thumb we explored heart and soul and he had lots of both. Thanks for sharing him with us.. Greg Deer
I was overwhelmed with sadness when I heard the news of Richard's passing. What a bright intellect and spirit, what a witty, whimsical and wonderful demeanor he bore. Always joyous, easily bringing those around him into a state of joy. Always thinking of others, working with and for others, giving his time and energy and assets with open heart while commitment to others' needs. That was his own fulfillment, I believe.

I had the great fortune of getting to know him and share the role of the pianist on many a show at the Thumbnail Theater. He was a fine musician who took his place on the team most seriously. His charts unique, his understanding and interpretation deeply personal. His organ playing was a thing to behold, while his tight, yet tender and thoughtful keyboard accompaniments were a springboard for us vocalists to jump off into our bliss!

I mourn deeply for you, his family, especially for Donna, who always graciously and generously offered her home alongside him to many in the close community of musicians, to whom he meant so much. Dear Richard, you are sorely missed!
I will miss Richard deeply. He was my brother Ken's adventure buddy and best friend and for me a treasured musical pal. An unforgettable person of multiple talents and fine qualities. Big hugs to the Lowell family!
Mark and I are so saddened at Richard's passing. He was our family dentist for many years. Richard was such a vibrant, kind man, with a quick and lively interest in everything around him; who else could so successfully focus on his garden, outdoors explorations, music, his family and his community? We will miss Richard.

I only knew Richard for a few short years but was honored to play in the final lineup of his band, The F Street Project. Throughout my time with him we became friends and I was privileged to have gotten to know him on a more personal level than being just bandmates.
Richard was passionate about his many interests and always curious about the passions of others. He was a 100% teamwork man who graciously encouraged others to develop and shine with their natural abilities. He was quick with kind words, quick with a smile and quick to downplay any hardships he experienced. A truly good soul who I believe lives on in that great playground we call heaven.
My heart goes out to Donna, his kids and to all who loved him. I thank my lucky stars that he was a part of my life.
My best wishes to Donna and Richard’s entire family. I met Richard through dentistry. I then took telemarking lessons from him. I have known him to always be gracious, thoughtful and caring. His presence will be missed in this world.
Richard had a love for fitness. When I did my first half ironman race , I asked him about his experience. He told me it made him tired just hearing about it. He was a much better swimmer thank ever was! I am very sorry for the loss of such a kind supportive man. Rest in peace my friend.
Richard, you were enjoyable to watch play the Key boards when your Band played.I Will mis playing Golf with you and Talking About what kind of Team the ZAGS will have this year.May GOD LOVE and PEACE Surround your Family in the Midst of these Tough days of saying Good bye.
Dear Richard,
I am so sad that you have left us.
Reflecting back on early memories of growing up, I realize the privilege to have known you. As a child, we take everything that we experience for granted, and later in life realize those precious moments. You were my big brother, my friend - our families joined by our parents, Roy, Florence, Neil and Barb. I am thankful for the wonderful memories of living in Colville with you. I remember so well riding in the front seat of your 64 Chevelle Malibu doing what kids do, cruising Main, stops at A&W, skiing, and the wonderful experience of being at Christina Lake. In later years, you lived with us as we all went to school in Spokane. Your sense of adventure, mischief and antics will forever by etched in my mind. I loved your daring and creative spirit!
Although our lives went different ways, raising families, careers and everyday life, I often thought of you, wondering what adventure you're doing now. Thank you for touching base occasionally as you cruise through 49 Degrees N ski hill. After all, you were my big brother and friend. I know your spirit soars among all of us! You have enriched all our lives and will be missed but leave me smiling with wonderful memories. With love, Janet
We were so sorry to hear about Richard's passing. He was such a fun loving and interesting guy to be around. We enjoyed our many golf outings with he and Donna. Our hearts go out to Donna and family .
We are so sad to hear of Richard's passing. What a wonderful dentist and all-round individual the world has lost! Thoughts go to Donna and the entire family.
