Last surviving son of August and Elizabeth Grossheider. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Son Michael, grandson Derek, brothers Edward, John and Roger. Richard Joined the Navy the day after graduating from High School, serving as a sonar operator on the submarine "USS Scabbardfish". He Graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering …
