On Monday, February 15, 2021 Richard Lee Armstrong passed away peacefully at home with family. He was born September 5, 1944 to Burl and Connie(ZIEGLER) Armstrong. He was a proud Army Veteran and retired sheet-metal worker Local Number 2. He enjoyed traveling, camping and relaxing at the lake with family and friends. He was handy at almost anything; he enjoyed the challenge of fixing things, tinkering in the garage or helping friends and family with projects. He was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis 4 1/2 years ago. The family would like to thank Liberty Hospital Hospice For their wonderful care. He leaves behind his Loving wife Fran L Armstrong of 38 years. Son, Steve Bosworth and wife Shelly, Brother, Patrick Armstrong, Sisters: Virginia, Mary and Barbara, Two grandsons: Austin Tetting, Connor Bosworth and one grand daughter, Brooke Bosworth. He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter he loved so dearly, Sharla Marie Armstrong. There will be a celebration of life planned at a later date this summer. The family requests no Flowers. Donations can be made to the home in honor of Richard Armstrong.
