On June 8, 2024, we lost our loving wife and mother, Ricarose (Rica) Novy, after a short struggle against an aggressive cancer. She was born on June 24, 1960 in Candon, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She graduated from Far Eastern University with a degree in English Literature. She immigrated to the United States in 1990 and met her husband, Richard Novy, at the airport in San Jose, California, after a common connecting flight from St. Louis. …
