While I didn’t know Mr. Randy, I’m very thankful for his life because he had a profound impact on my child. He truly became a grandfather figure. When my son was at his Dad’s house, Mr. Randy let him borrow a mower to cut people’s grass in the neighborhood. This helped teach my son responsibility and the value of a dollar. Mr. Randy put in time with a teenage boy, gave him wise advice, and showed him love when he didn’t have to. So today, I honor this man and I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Randy was always a very special person in my life and my husband’s (Scott Awtry) life. He had so much wisdom that he spoke into my heart that helped guide me through my life journey. He will be missed, but I know that I will see him again when Jesus Christ calls all His children home.
