Randall's obituary
Randall "Randy" Toftee, a proud father, grandfather, and service man, was born on December 12, 1960, and peacefully took his last breath on October 13, 2023. Though many knew him as Randy, he held a preference for his full name, Randall. The memory of his hearty laughter and infectious sarcasm, tempered by love, continues to warm the hearts of those who knew him.
Randall was not a man who measured his life by his years but by the love he poured into it. His legacy lives on through his two beloved daughters, Nicole and Melissa Toftee, and his treasured granddaughters, Emily, Abigail and Madeline Courson. Their love for their father and grandfather mirrors the love he had for them.
In 1979, the call of duty led Randall to join the Air Force. His time in the service was a testament to his dedication and tenacity, culminating in a highlight reel of achievements, including 22 years in the Air Force and 14 years with the F-117A Stealth Fighter Unit. Retiring from this notable career in 2001, he switched gears to work as a civilian at the Lockheed Plant 42.
Away from the serious pursuits of life, Randall was a man who reveled in the simple joys. His love for meat and potatoes was only surpassed by his passion for country music. Many an afternoon was spent in front of the television, cheering on his favorite NASCAR racers. The color orange brought him joy, as bright and warm as his personality.
Throughout his life, Randall imparted many lessons. Chief amongst these was the advice not to 'sweat the small stuff.' He lived his life by this motto, choosing instead to focus on the things that truly mattered to him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on December 9, 2023, at 8:00 PM, at Hummel Hall on 20th St. W. All who loved him are invited to attend, to remember and celebrate the man who touched so many lives during his time with us.
