Ever the scientist, Randy requested that his body be donated to the University of Utah Medical Center so that he could contribute to the learning and continuing research in the war with Cancer. His name will be etched into the Celebration of Life Monument on Library Square in Salt Lake City along with others who gave this final, selfless gift. There is an annual tribute held there every August for the public. On August 24, 2019 in conjunction with this event, there will also be a memorial and tribute for Randy at his home in Mantua later in the day for friends and family members. A reminder will be posted next summer as the time gets closer. The family gives a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sborov and his team at the Huntsman Cancer Institute for their tireless efforts, kindness, and care, and the dear friends and family who did everything they could to brighten our lives along the way.
