Rachel was such a fun woman, who brought cheer with her every time she came into Ross-Cherry Creek Library. I loved chatting with her each visit. I am grateful that you lived Rachel.
Rachel was a long- time member of The Old Broads' Club, and we will all miss her. May her memory be for a blessing.

Rachel was a constant, bright presence in our Cherry Creek Library. She always took time to chat with all of us and we so enjoyed researching information for her for her writing. Many a Saturday was spent in sunshine and the background buzz to work on her craft. I loved her thoughts and conversation and the time she took to get to know me personally. We even had lunch one day! To her family and loved ones, my heart goes out to you all. Daryl F
I'm SO sad to hear that Rachel has died. We met when I moved into the same apartment-block and we quickly became good friends. When, 5 years later, I returned to the UK, we kept in touch and continued to write letters to one another. In the last year I became very worried by Rachel's health problems.

Rachel was my very best American friend. We had wonderful conversations about the state of the world and its leaders, as well as discussing many other subjects. I last saw Rachel when I attended an international botanical conference in Denver (I'm a botanist - I now can't remember which year that was!) and we spent a day together chatting about old times.

I will miss Rachel hugely. It is difficult to believe that she is no longer here, but her memory will live on.

I am so sad to hear that my dear friend Rachel passed away. I met her 26 years ago at the Seasons apartment in Cherry Creek. My husband, Jack and I were newlyweds. Rachel came to a chanuka candlelighting held by some of the residents at the Seasons. She and I hit it off. Rachel had a huge heart. She loved all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren so much. She often talked about all of you with such love and joy. She was so proud of her family. I will miss her very much. She spent many Passover Seders with my family and always had something insightful and interesting to say. She was so bright, opinionated and passionate. She really helped me when I had post partum depression after my second child. We were living in a new subdivision in Parker and I had no family or neighbors. Rachel came to help me when my husband was out of town on business. I will never forget her kindness. God Bless her soul. She was a beautiful caring, special person. She will be missed. I love you Rachel,
Sarah Arbess
We will miss Rachel very much, especially this week at our seder which she has been part of since we arrived in Denver from Toronto 26 years ago. We considered her a part of our family. We will miss her intelligence and feistiness and the great intense conversations.
She was a wonderful person, and we will miss her dearly. The last couple of years of her life were very difficult, and I hope that she is in a peaceful place now. Jack D. Arbess

To Keith and other family members of Rachel's:

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Rachel, a close friend for many years. I have fond memories of lunches with "The Old Broads Club" over those years, as well as our annual weekend fun at the condo of Joyce and Sam Freeman in the Colorado mountains. She will be very much missed by me and the other old broads (and others who knew her well). I send condolences to you, and other family members and will always remember her.

Sincerely,
Audrey Marcus
