Rachel Franke Pollack of Denver Colorado and New York City passed away at the age of 86 on April 4, 2020. She was a passionate writer of essays in travel articles her work appeared in numerous newspapers and national magazines. A Member of the Authors Guild,
Is best known for her book The Journey Out, a guide for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Teens published in 1995.
She is survived by her younger brother Eric Francke who lives in New York and her sons Keith, Michael and Jeff Pollack
She was a compassionate loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Generous and warm hearted will be loved and missed by many.
