Rick, your capacity to bring levity to all situations through your missives lives on.   Rest easy my friend.
So sorry to hear of Mr. D's passing. He had an HUGE influence on me my freshman year at Don Bosco. Had lots of patience with me in Algebra and never gave up on me to help me learn.RIP sir! The world will miss you.

Mr. Dr. Delillo aka Daddy D was a dedicated, carrying, funny, and passionate teacher and person none of us will ever forget!  The last time I saw him randomly we spoke for an hour and laughed 90 percent of it.  Like hundreds and hundreds of 'Bosco alum I was blessed to have him as a teacher and friend.  God Bless you Rick and rest in peace.  For those Ironmen that know... The answer to number four... is four!  Da Da Da Da Da Da....Desk smashes for everyone!

Rest in Peace Rick, we will miss you dearly! I didn't think the day I left for college in August would be the last I saw of you, but I'm keeping your gift as a memento!

You were one of the best Big Daddy D. Your humor made learning and homeroom a joy. I’ll never forget how high you jumped when Marc Macaraeg hid under your desk and grabbed your leg during roll! God Bless you

Daddy D and SOME of the girls ❤️

In '84, Mr. Delillo was the freshman dean and my math teacher. He was a welcoming and reassuring face to those entering DBP. He asked each of us to look inside ourselves  to treat each other as brothers while asking that we do our best.

Mr D- thank you for assuring that the freshman year  transition turned into long term success.

Richard J. Gill

Class of 1988

Mr. DeLillo was a caring person. He loved teaching at Don Bosco  and coaching the cheerleaders. May he rest in peace.
