Well, I can't recall the exact first time that I (Michael Logan) met Priscilla because we were both less than 2 years old. Probably considerably less. But I am sure that at the time my first impression was- you're a cool cousin.

Priscilla was a strong and devoted member of our Storytelling community for many decades. Her soothing voice, sense of play, sincere devotion to written and to spoken words, her librarian's encyclopedic knowledge of stories and sources, her strong sense of play, her gentle way of being able to wrangle storytellers together, her lovely work with our Spellbinders, and her essential kindness set her as a beacon of Story and love of learning. Oh, how all of us will miss her.      ~Cherie Karo Schwartz

Helping hands

In lieu of flowers

In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to Cherry Valley Community Church.

I am so sad to hear about Priscilla's passing.  I will always remember her as such a wonderful, funny, smart, talented, generous giving person.  I have such happy memories of our time working together at the Parker Library, going to her home for barbecues, Christmas wreath making,  parties and weddings. What a loss for all of us who knew her and loved her.    I have found comfort in the poem, Gone From My Sight by Henry Van Dyke.  The last line is, "

And, just at the moment when someone says, “There, she is gone,”

there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices

ready to take up the glad shout, “Here she comes!”

My condolences to David and their children and grandchildren.

It broke our hearts to hear about Priscilla. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Our condolences to Priscilla's family. I first met Priscilla when working at the then Parker Library,1996.  She inspired me with her knowledge and love of children’s literature.  My family and I were very blessed to know the Queen family .

Prayers of comfort from The Tatangelo family.

Priscilla was able to manifest a fantastic, yet visceral story. By the time I met her, her magic cast a broad and compelling spell. Being woven into the legacy she crafted with family is an honor. I'm eternally grateful for her supernatural grandmothering. She deserved to meet her great-grandchildren. Her story will carry all the same.

May my condolences bring you and the family comfort and may my prayers ease the pain at the passing of our beloved Priscilla🙏
Priscilla will always be in my heart. She taught me the art of sharing stories with and for children, which was and always will be a huge part of my life. She was my storytime mentor. I'm so grateful she shared her knowledge with me. She made it all fun and our days on the Children's Committee were some of the very best days in the library, because of her. Rest well my friend.  🧡
