Phyllis Sherwood was born on March 18, 1930, and she would have been 93 years old this year. Phyllis was the author of her life, and her book is closed now, but the story remains joyful and beautiful.
Phyllis grew up in Jamaica, Queens with her parents and sister. She was an independent, energetic, and determined woman. She married at 17 and a few years later, her son, Cliff was born. Life brought its toll …
