I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Ayres’ passing. He was such a nice person. He was my 7th grade science teacher (2005-2006) and was the best teacher in the school. He really cared about every student in his class and loved science. Condolences to his family during this time. Rest in peace Mr. Ayres

Our hearts are broken.  Phread - such a wonderful human.  We are sending love to all of you, during this difficult time.
I was so sorry to hear about Phread's passing. He was such a loving and kind soul and gifted me and my siblings with many happy childhood memories that I still think of today. ❤️

Helen, Genna and Marcy,

I am so sorry to hear about Phread's passing. When we were growing up in Cresskill, he was a friend who helped me get through some rough times. I'm glad that we kept in touch over the years. I remember the last time that we hung out and driving up to Bear mountain. It was so great to hang out for the day and catch up on life. I was proud he became a teacher. He was perfect for that! Even with his more recent struggles he remained the eternal optimist (that was his "trademark") I'll miss my friend! God bless you all.

Fondly remembered, grateful to have had his warm and wise presence in my life. Love, Katherine
Helen,  I'm so sorry to read about the great loss of your dear husband. I never met him,but loved seeing your pictures thru the years. May his memory be a blessing.
Phread was a huge and formative part of my young adult life growing up in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ridgewood. He fostered my love of science and I have fond memories of him driving the two of us into NYC to volunteer. Phread was immensely kind and had a heart of gold. He was always available to talk and was an amazing UU teacher. He helped me figure out what my beliefs were going to look like as I navigated Coming of Age and talked about his struggles in life to give myself and my peers courage about what our futures could be. My life is no doubt better because Phread was in it. My condolences to the family.
Thread was not my best friend but I really liked him. Every time we were together I always felt warm and loved. We will really miss him.

Phread was an incredible person.  He is the sole reason I got into the music business.  I hope I told him that when I saw him in 2016/17.

I am so sorry that everyone is forced to live life without him.

My sincere condolences.

-Katherine Miller

Phred you were loved by anyone that ever met you! You gave the best dad hug. The plastic lab will not be the same without you. I’m so sorry to your wife and girls that have to live on without you. We know how much you adored your family. You were a great man and will be missed by everyone that was blessed to meet you ❤️.
Phread spreading holiday cheer. You were the heart of our school and a mentor to many. You will be missed my friend. Love you #rockon #iamthewalrus
