Phil was one of my fiancé's favorite people. He was kind, funny and so easy going. John was so affected by the passing of Phil. He lost a good friend and a brother biker. I hope Phil and John finally met up in heaven because they so liked each other!!!!
One of sweetest men on the planet, besides one of his best buddies, John Caldarella, who joined him in heaven. God, they are so missed! RIP Phil and Happy Birthday!
Phil, you certainly have left your "Footprint in the sand." Because of the way you were and the kindness you generated towards the human race; people still miss you. You've made us realize the importance of being a kind person and to help others. Never, ever heard you speak bad of anyone. And loved your family - your wife Julie and your wonderful sons who truly learned how to be such great adults thanks to the both of you instilling your values. Some of the best times were when you were 'behind the wheel' so to speak. The wine tour was the best, thanks to you.
Tom Kaminski "TK" - Fredonia High Class of 1980. Was saddened to hear the news of Phil's passing. Phil was a "gentle giant" and one of my best friends growing up through the years in the Fredonia Central school district. I'll never forget our high school years and the day we were initiated together into the ITK fraternity --- yes FHS had fraternities back in the day! Needless to say getting our butts paddled down by the banks of the Canadaway creek wasn't too much fun! Although we grew apart after high school the times we did meet up were always enjoyable and we picked back up where we had left off. You'll be missed my friend. Rest in Peace and God Bless those you leave behind.
We were sitting next to each other in social studies class and for some reason he started laughing, I started laughing and we couldn't stop! This went on for a couple days until the teacher finally separated us. He put Hooba in the front row and me in the back row. I could hear the big fella snickering under his breath when class started and we both burst out laughing and got kicked out of class!!! It's a great memory of the big fella "Tee-Heeing" under his breath.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Phil was a good guy. Grew up with him and a bunch from the Prospect St. crew. I wish I would have known the Harley riding Phil, it would have been nice riding with him.
Phil was a great guy. He treated everyone well and we grew to love him like a brother. My John loved hanging with him because he was such a caring and loving man. He and John just enjoyed being together. I also want to give Julie a ton of credit for her fight and dedication to her husband's battle with his health. He will be so sadly missed and will live in our hearts forever.
