Philip H. Sweet Jr. was born on November 11, 1939, to Philip H. Sweet Sr. and Michelle Sweet. A fifth-generation Californian, Philip grew up with a love for trains that carried into his adult years, but his greatest passions were always his family, his faith, and his music.
As a boy, his sister Sandy was his closest confidant, and the two leaned …
