We have believed Rotimi will pull it through and once again exchange family visits and attend occasions in brotherhood. Our hearts shattered when we got the news, but our strength is from the Lord to whom Rotimi had answered the call of heaven. Though we miss you, we rejoice for a life well spent on God’s purpose with a wonderful imprint in our memories. Adieu Rotimi. Joeba and Boma.
My wife and I are saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend bro Rotimi into glory. We had a good time together in Edinburgh and belonged to the same fellowship group. As a friend, he touched our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with sis. Tinu and the children.
Dr Mebude was a very kind man. For example, my family will forever be grateful to him. About 12 years ago my family had some mortgage issue. He heard about it and volunteered to help us out. It was a surprise. The Most High God will raise help for his children in their times of need IJN.
At this very sad and difficult time may the family know of the many people who are thinking of them and praying for them. May Deb know of the wishes for strength during this grieving time, from the staff and Board of Citizens for Public Justice. Cherilyn Spraakman, Chair, Board of Directors, Citizens for Public Justice
So sad to hear about the passing of Dr. Mebude. I knew Dr. Mebude when I first landed in Calgary Canada 23 years ago. Even though I haven't kept in touch, I regard him as a friend. May the good Lord grant him eternal rest and comfort his wife and children
Our condolences to the Mebude Family. We are grateful for Rotimi's life which was a ray of God's light to those whose lives he touched. The Lord grant you eternal rest in His bosom till we meet again. The Obasis
Dear Deb and family, I am so sorry for your loss. May you feel the embrace of our ever-present Creator and all you family and friends near and far holding you in love, mourning with you, and celebrating the memories you shared.
Hard to bear, but God knows best. Our sincere condolences to the family. We pray that God will continue to comfort and strengthen Auntie Tinu and the family. From the Ade-Oshifogun family.
GONE TOO SOON.. My brother in friend-Rotimi MEBUDE, The timing of your departure is very very difficult. I had hoped to see you, your family, and the JOGS family in Calgary-Canada. My respect for my wonderful friend of teenage years at Kuti House, Ijebu Ode Grammar School. Words fails me...... I will not hear those words of wisdom and prayers. YES, your HUMBLENESS will forever be one of my memories of you. "Sleep on, beloved, sleep, and take thy rest....." For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from GOD, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Sun Re O.
We received the news of the passing of Dr. Rotimi Mebude with great shock. We pray that God gives Tinuade, the rest of the family, and the extended family the strength to bear this loss and the fortitude to carry on his good works. We love you but God loves you more. Rest In Peace. Wale and Funmi Shokoya"
