If you knew my dad, you know he was a very simple quiet, humble man. He wouldn't want you to spend any money on him or ask for anything.

We cannot stress enough please do not send flowers as we feel it's a waste of money. Just for presence and prayers are gratefully accepted. If you really feel like you want to give, we set up a donation page for the legacy fund. Nothing is to little. The goal is just a number... Most likely we will do something for the kids on his home island. And I will keep everyone posted that gave.

Sometimes people feel like they want to do something so we felt donating towards helping people on the island would be better served than flowers that he can't see or smell and get thrown out as soon as we leave. ;)

Pedro Lorenzo Chinnery was Born on January 5, 1924, in Jost Van Dyke, BVI, to Emmanual Chinnery and Rebecca Sewer. Pedro spent his early years between Jost Van Dyke and St. Thomas, attending Jost Van Dyke Primary School. He embarked on his career as a civilian cook for the Marines in St. Thomas, where he discovered his passion for the culinary arts.
