Paul von Schmidt, resident of Collinsville, Connecticut, passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 67. He was born on July 16, 1956, to Peter and Annie (Bennett) von Schmidt in Westport, CT.
Music was undoubtedly one of Paul's greatest passions. After graduating from Staples High School, Paul attended school in Vermont to study luthiere and went on to open a successful luthier business in Barkhamsted CT; making and fixing stringed instruments. In …
