Our family got to know Patrick very well whether it was family dinner, trips or chatting on the sideline of a sporting event for Maddie or Alex.    We talked business, family and I even remember him telling me his stories about his flying days (he probably scared me away from actually taking lessons which may have turned out to be a good thing).   We will miss him greatly.

Sending you our deepest condolences.

Pat was a big part of our family for many years and will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Rene , Eddie. And the entire Diaz family  ❤️

Wishing all you the space and love you’ll need to heal from this unexpected loss. My heart goes out to all, including Patrick.

While I didn’t know Patrick well his youthful vigor always stood out to us all. Whether watching football at Shari’s beautiful Kentfield home or simply chatting at a restaurant his good looks and attention to his “people” was something you just took note of.
Patrick was one of the gang here in Marin. He watched soccer/football games on the sidelines, proudly cheering on his favorite athletes. He hung out with all of us during various parties, football games and social gatherings. He was not this imposing father figure who made you feel like you had to watch what you were saying. He looked like one of us (so so young - great genes) and had the same young/fun spirit as the younger Bucks. I will miss his charm and easy-going spirit. Xoxo

Shari, I remember walking up your stairs on Christmas Eve to be greeted by your dad’s warm, gentle smile wearing “The Dude Abides” sweater.  He made it look so classy with his button up underneath!

I smile at the memory of our dads talking hockey one of those Christmas Eves.

Your dad’s quiet yet attentive presence was very much felt and we are devastated by his loss.

Your entire family is being held in our hearts for peace, strength and healing.  With much love, Jeff, Andrea, Lauren and Patrick MacBean

I got to know Patrick on the sidelines at multiple soccer games and track meets. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I am a better human for having been in his company. He literally beamed as he watched his Maddie compete and he regaled me with stories of her mom Shari playing hockey the boys. As my girls would say, Patrick had “good vibes” and his devotion to his family was absolutely palpable. I know Patrick’s presence will be sorely missed but the love he had for his family and everyone around him lives on forever. RIP Patrick. Sending so much love to Shari, Jeff, Maddie & Alex  ❤️🙏❤️

There are never adequate words to tell someone how sorry you are that they lost a person that is so dear to them. There just aren’t. My heart breaks. But gosh we all loved your Dad so much and very much considered him to be part of our Marin crew. And he was so obviously impressed with you, and in love with your kids. As we all are. We love you, Shari Buck. And we’re here for you.

Dad - Our wager on the construction next door still stands. There is no way they are building an infinity lap pool. I will take periodic pictures (and probably text them to you). You've left a huge hole in my heart, but I will forever be thankful for every minute we've spent together. Except that night you were really mad at me for not putting Saran Wrap over the cheesecake before putting it the fridge. Let's forget those 5 minutes.
