Sad to hear of his passing. He was our next door neighbor and became close with us when we invited him over for cannolis. Loved hearing how much he adored his children and grandchildren. He fed my husband and I yummy apps and wine.

We’re so sorry for your immense loss, and we wish you all peace and comfort as you grieve.
Patrick was such fun to be around — he was quiet but his presence was great. It didn’t matter whether it was a sports event for his grandkids or the 4th of July parade or just hanging out. He always felt like one of the gang.
We will miss seeing him and will remember his young-at-heart spirit and his inspiring life story.
With love,
Ross, Rupal, Kiran, and Anika

We are deeply saddened about Patrick's passing. He was a devoted grandpa and I'll always remember him at Alex's baseball games. I remember my surprise the first time I met him and learned he was a grandparent of a player and not a parent. He looked so young and in shape!
Though words can hardly do justice at such a time, please know our hearts are with your family. Wishing you strength, love, and healing.

Hi Shari. I am sending you and your whole family a big hug. I am so sorry about the passing of your father. I know how close you were. I just found the picture of my and Stephan’s 10-year anniversary party, which is where I met your father. So fun to have him there. If I cannot post it here, I will send it to you. Xxoo.

At MC games he was always so excited to watch Alex play football. He was always vocal about getting online to watch his other grandkids play sports. I’ll always remember his passion for his family. Dylan told us tonight that he’ll always remember the hug he got after every game from your dad.

I'll always remember catching GRod at countless Little League, CYO, Flag Football, or MC Football games. He was so incredibly devoted to Maddie and Alex, and this was one of the many ways he demonstrated it. I also recall GRod at several Buck-hosted holiday events, Thanksgiving football, Christmas Eve, and the 4th --which brings me to my favorite GRod moment.
We had just wrapped up the parade and were wading through the chaos of Town Park. As we're talking, he discovers a discarded, unopened PBR. After inspecting it, he cleans it off and asks, "Wanna share it?" Which, of course, we did. Love that memory.

We are so sorry to hear about Patrick’s passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a few parties at Shari and Jeff’s house and remember thinking what an amazing Dad / Grandpa to pick up and move to a completely new and different community to be near his family. I don’t think many people would do the same. You were so lucky to have all time and memories together. Sending lots of love and hugs during this difficult period.

Patrick wasn’t just “our friend’s dad" / "our kids' friends' grandpa,” he was all of ours. He was that kind of guy — made us all feel as if we were family with his fun, caring, engaging, warm way. Whether we were on the sidelines of a flag football, football, soccer or lacrosse game with him, at a meal or celebration in Corte Madera or Kentfield or all away together in Tahoe, the times with him were simply better and fuller because of his presence. My family and I will miss him and will treasure all of the years of memories we were lucky enough to share.

I was so sorry to hear about Patrick’s passing. He was an exceptional person. I remember having dinner with him years ago at Shari and Jeff’s. We all had such a fun evening with great conversation and fun banter. Patrick was so engaging and charming, sharing stories of his childhood and career in the retail/clothing world. He was candid and humble. He was warm, thoughtful, intelligent, and inquisitive. My admiration only grew in the years, family gatherings, and soccer games that followed. He was always friendly and easy to engage in interesting conversation. I remember thinking, on more than one occasion, how lucky Shari was to have such a hip, youthful, loving father. He was just a complete pleasure to be around. He will be missed by all those lucky enough to have known him. ❤️

Shari, I loved that your dad was seamlessly part of the gang. I was just getting to know him but could easily see that he was a special human. I adored the easy going relationship he had with Maddie and Alex.
He was a warm and generous spirit and i’m so happy to have his influence on all future shrimp cocktail presentations in my life. He’ll always have a space in my heart. May his memory be a blessing.
