Some of my best memories of my experience at Dillard University are of Mrs. Rochon. She was an amazing teacher and advisor who put great opportunities in front of me. She steered me toward my first internship, which was at CSPAN through the Washington Center. She guided me to revive the Bleu Devil student newspaper. And most of all, she often welcomed me into her home—and even let Hildred spend a night with me on campus. 

To her family, I am sorry for your loss. You have my deepest condolences. Thank you for sharing your amazing mother, wife, etc., with so many students like me.

Mrs. Rochon is an icon on the Dillard University campus…she will always be remembered for the way she cared for and nurtured her students; I was one of them. Rest well and deepest condolence to the Rochon family….
