My condolences to the Rochon family. My family met Mrs. Rochon thru my sister, Yvette Martin during her Dillard years. My mother, Faye Martin and Mrs. Rochon became friends. Mrs. Rochon was always there for Bet illnesses in New Orleans and St Louis, her school years. her wedding, and my mothers passing. She was there and was Bet, second Mom.
Mrs. Rochon was a loving, kind, fun person and we were always glad to see her. She was a true rare diamond. Mr. Rochon, my family and I truly appreciate you sharing your wife with us over the years. Emile and Hildred thank you for also sharing your wonderful Mom.
God sent for one of his Angels. She will be remembered and missed.

Mrs. Rochon was a beautiful lady. I will never forget meeting her and Dr. Rochon at Sams Club in Alburn, Al. while enrolling our son in his first year at Tuskegee University. She was so pleasant to speak with. We were a little concerned being we were 12 hour drive away. (Dallas, TX.) She and Dr. Rochon assured me and my wife that our son would be just fine and he would graduate. They were both so encouraging. Our son did go on to love and graduate from Tuskegee University majoring in Chemical Engineering, with a wonderful working career. My prayer to the Rochon family is God to comfort you in the time of sadness and embrace all the wonderful memories knowing you’ll see her again.
