I first met Pam in June of '71. Two young people were honeymooning in 101 Moss Drive and a sixteen-year old sister opened up to a Norwegian brother-in- law with a big smile and gentle heart and made him feel very welcome. Then ten years later Pam and Bill made their first of two trips to Norway. After fishing in the Skagerak ocean a couple of hours, we returned to our pier and Pam exclaimed," Are we back already?" Bill replied,"Pam, this is paradise!" Perhaps a slight exaggeration, but we all hope that is exactly where she is now...
RIP- sweet Pamela. We loved you dearly....
When I was about 7 or 8 years old, my mom was cleaning the house using a can of Lysol. I walked in the room and immediately started rolling around and writhing in agony as I pretended to be a germ. She kept laughing and spraying all around as I played to my audience quite well.

My mom struggled very much with depression when we were younger, and, little did I know at the time, that would be one of the most joyous interactions I remember sharing with her. It made me feel good to see her laugh, and, as I grew older, I always tried to recreate that emotion when I could.
